About AHC

AHC - Austrian Health Care Systems & Engineering GmbH

In line with the initiative of the Austrian government to boost exports, the main task of AHC is to furthering the interests of Austrian or Austrian based companies in the field of medical engineering on their export markets.

Closely linked to Austrian Federal Ministries, particularly the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit) – now Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK)​​​ and supported by Austrian Trade, by law, the official Austrian Trade Promotion organisation - AHC unites important companies, exportfinancing banks and health care operators and acts as coordinator, ensuring the accessibility of jointly developed know-how for international customers.
It is in this capacity that AHC is also used as project coordinator in the context of bilateral cooperations in the health care sector.

AHC stands for competence and efficiency in all fields of health care. AHC is able to offer world wide well-tried, state-of-the-art solutions. Project-related networking within the group enables a participation in comprehensive projects, such as "National health improvement"-programmes to cover all areas from hospitals, medical equipment and laboratory to clinical waste and waste water treatment.

A close cooperation with Austrian organizations for education, training and technology transfer guarantees access to the Austrian education, science, research and training system. This means project-related provision of training facilities and capacities, officially approved certificates as well as new aspects of project-financing.

Similar organizations exist for the energy- (APET – Austrian Power & Environment Technology) and other technology sectors (ATC – Austrian Technology Corporation).
